A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
ROAD SAFETY AFRICA represents private enterprise combining to promote and maintain road safety awareness messaging to the general public and all road users. It is estimated that 14 000 people per year are killed on SA roads, so we believe that this is a vital undertaking requiring ongoing effort and application. ROAD SAFETY AFRICA has had a proud track record of consistent and regular presence on television which includes e-TV, through Media Feed, and all SABC channels, especially SABC 3. The Department of Transport has a close working relationship with ROAD SAFETY AFRICA and both parties regularly meet to exchange ideas and to implement joint projects, events and arrange other initiatives designed to improve Road Safety.
